This year’s senior night happened on Friday, Sept. 26. Football seniors Milton Standifer, Reginal Feldner, Damyron Brown, Ryan Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Bryant Snowden, and Keymarion Garth all got to walk out with their families. Each player wrote down what college they will be attending, what they would like to do after high school. RHS played against rivals Grosse Pointe South at the home field. They played a good game, despite a 47-25 loss.
Wide receiver Standifer has been on varsity for three years. “Senior night was fun, I enjoyed having my family there. I felt supported by them. I felt emotional walking out with my family because it was about me and the guys; I felt excited and determined to win,” Standifer said.
Feldner, varsity receiver for two years, caught the ball and helped with field positioning. “Senior night was good, I felt very supported and loved, playing the game, I was locked in having fun and came up short a little,” Feldner said.
Senior night was beautiful seeing the class of 2026 athletes with their families and learning about what goals they plan on achieving. Seeing them work so hard throughout their high school years was meaningful for all in attendance.
