The 2025 – 2026 school year has officially started, with Panthers having completed their first week back to school. Students have been familiarizing themselves with the building, as well as adjusting to their new schedules. There are a few new additions within the building, including the remodeled outside of The Panther Den, and a new art teacher, Mrs. Wilkins. A new school year also means new events, with Spirit Week and the Homecoming dance commencing early.
Senior Caitlin Jankowski is happy about being a senior. “I’m looking forward to all my “lasts firsts”, like that’s it, there’s no more after this. Then I graduate”.
A huge part of the new school year is the personal electronic device policy. Cell phones are to be put away during instructional time, and headphones are only allowed to be worn in the cafeteria. These expectations are also new for Panthers to become accustomed to, and it aims to ensure students are paying more attention in class. Staff and students alike are looking forward to the year ahead.
