As the final days of my junior year come to an end, I think about the upcoming plans for the summer break going into my senior year. It hasn’t hit me yet, but I really can’t believe it’s almost my turn to be a senior. I look forward to water parks opening again, going to the beach, and capturing things for my senior memory box. My friends and I also came up with the concept of making a bucket list to achieve before September to keep us busy and out of the house, like going to Cedar Point and Kalahari. I want to do more hands-on trips like going to top golf and hanging out at the mall just to be out of the house more.
While all this is going on, I do want to work more to save towards my needs towards school and myself. Getting myself to work the hours I need so I can have extra money in my pocket, even doing things like babysitting my nieces when they come around are all ways I plan to make money. Ultimately, I’m really excited about what is in store for me. Going into my final year is surreal but knowing I have the support of the people who are in my close circle makes me feel at ease, and it’s comforting knowing that whatever happens, I’ll always have my friends in my corner, rooting for me.
