With only one more day left in the 2024 – 2025 school year, Panthers are as eager as ever for summer break to officially commence. Summer break is not only a time for fun, friends, and family, but also a time to recharge and reflect. It is important to take time to rest up and spend time doing things that bring joy. Start a new hobby like painting, go for walks in the neighborhood, read more books, or check out a fun new place; It’s nice to stay indoors and sometimes scrolling is all there is to do, but be sure to enjoy the warm weather and free time while it lasts.
Junior Aleiah Richardson has part of her summer mapped out. “I am doing the teacher cadette program for elementary school students,” Richardson said. The teacher cadette program is a way for high school students to experience what it’s like to be an educator, and for them to see if they would like to pursue that profession in the future. It’s a nice way to gain some experience and have something to look forward to during the summer.
Stay safe, wear sunscreen, and RHS is looking forward to seeing Panthers again in the fall!
