The competition was intense as teams gathered for the divisional track meet on Tuesday, May 5th. Schools brought their best performance to the track, creating an exciting atmosphere filled with energy. Athletes competed in various trials including races, relays, hurdles, and field events. One of the most exciting moments of the meet took place during the 4×1 relay race which includes Damyron Brown, Julian Hayes, Terrance Bowers, and Duane Mcgilary where they pulled through the challenges and won the race.  The meet highlighted the dedication and effort every athlete put into this season this far “Our team put forth so much time and dedication to secure this win” Hayes said. Coach Snowden praised the athletes for their strong performances and determination, sportsmanship, and hard work throughout the meet. Even with the pressure being intense as this was a divisional meet, the team stayed focused and dedicated. With strong performances across multiple events, the meet served as an important step toward the next level of competition.
