This Thursday Oct 2, the students of RHS transformed into the rulers of the school, maliciously stirring up the halls in their mischievous outfits for this week’s villain spirit day. From the wicked cackle of Maleficent to the fishy bribes of Ursula, many evil characters could be seen around the school, almost seeming as if students were living in the dark stories themselves. Even if it wasn’t the most profound costume, many students still showed their spirit in simple ways, whether it be makeup, or just a t-shirt, everyone is still appreciated in their efforts to give a sprinkle of fun to our normal ways.
Kay Weigand and Stephanie Brandon were two memorable participants. While having very different styles, they both still made an evil impression towards their peers.
“I like dressing up for spirit week because I’m able creative with my outfits and show my school pride in a fun way,” Brandon said.
“My favorite thing about Villain Day is seeing the creativity and uniqueness of everyone, even if they’re the same villains,” Weigand said.
