On September 17th, Link Crew hosted an interest hour for the freshman class of 2029 in the main gym. This allows freshmen to explore their interests in extracurriculars that RHS has. There were tables set up for students to sign up for these sports and clubs. There are also teachers that run certain clubs after school.
Some clubs included robotics, science, and even swim team. The cheer squad performed a routine to draw attention to their table. The sports tables were the most popular with the freshman class gathering around them.
Freshman Daric Neal attended the event. “It was really crowded but it was really cool to sign up for things as a freshman,” Neal said. Freshman Makenzie Desnoyer found some activities she was interested in during the event. “My experience was good and I signed up for softball and Student Assembly,” Desnoyer said.
This year’s interest hour had a huge turnout, with students filling up the entire main gymnasium. Plenty of students got an opportunity to see the variety of clubs and sports offered at RHS.
