       So many students at RHS had a blast over the weekend, but the varsity football team had their own exhilarating time hours before anyone was dressed.                     It is the third day of spirit week and Roseville students could not help but take part in the event to show their spirit and pride for the school. Today's theme was twin/multiplicity day, when students dressed up in pairs and groups. On Friday, Sept. 29, the Roseville Panthers took the road to face the L'anse Creuse Lancers in a game that was won through hardships, brotherhood, and bondage with a score of 37-14.     The Roseville team, led by quarterback Dahmon Riley, had much to show on and off the field. The beginning of the school year has been flying by, and this year all the talk is about the varsity football team.  With a record of three wins and one loss, the team is off to an amazing season. On Friday, Nov 4, RHS held its annual dodge ball tournament to help support the softball program. The tournament consisted of 16 teams. Another powder puff game went down in history on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Both the senior and junior girls gave it their all, fighting up to the final seconds when seniors won 38-22. Seniors Autumn Anderson, Maddie Kay and Kaylnn Brockman scored touchdowns, as well as juniors Kiyah Mann and Hope Bonga. On Thursday, Oct. 6, the RHS volleyball teams competed in a match up against the Centerline Panthers at home. On Friday, Sept. 30, the RHS varsity football won 15-7 against L’anse Creuse. The defense held the Lansers, forcing them to go three and out the majority of the game. Late in the third quarter, Senior Joshua Butler was the first to find the end zone after returning an interception for a touchdown. On Thursday Sept. 29, the girls varsity swim went to Sterling Heights and competed against nine schools in the “fun relays.” The fun relays consisted of doggy paddle, 100 freestyle, the ball race, the cup race, kick board, side-stroke, noodle, corkscrew, t-shirt race, pyramid, and the tandem race. On Monday September 26th, the boys' varsity soccer team traveled to Centerline High School for an interleague match. After the final whistle was blown, the Panthers came out ahead with a 2-1 win over Centerline. Both goals were scored by seniors David Underwood and Theodore Halt.
