Every year in the fall, Student Assembly hosts a canned food drive to give to those who need for the holidays. This food drive is to gather as many cans as we can to get distributed at the national organization called Gleaners Food Bank. The food bank raises awareness for the families that are struggling to financially support their families with food for the holidays, such as Thanksgiving, and also for the remainder of the year.       On Friday, Oct. 27 the cross country team ran their last meet of the season.       The boys varsity cross country squad had a great season. Dylan Johnson, Ryan Charles, Alontae Granville, Bryce Hughes, Cameron Newman, and Brian Nankervis all ran an impressive time as they concluded in the final race of the season. The annual powder puff game was held at Bob Eineichner memorial football field at 6:30 p.m. During the game the juniors won against the seniors, 14 to 12. The girls in the game played hard to take the win. Both teams put forth effort in the game that day. To kick off the game the seniors won the coin toss defending first.        So many students at RHS had a blast over the weekend, but the varsity football team had their own exhilarating time hours before anyone was dressed. On Friday, Sept. 29, the Roseville Panthers took the road to face the L'anse Creuse Lancers in a game that was won through hardships, brotherhood, and bondage with a score of 37-14.     The Roseville team, led by quarterback Dahmon Riley, had much to show on and off the field. The beginning of the school year has been flying by, and this year all the talk is about the varsity football team.  With a record of three wins and one loss, the team is off to an amazing season. On Friday, Nov 4, RHS held its annual dodge ball tournament to help support the softball program. The tournament consisted of 16 teams. Another powder puff game went down in history on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Both the senior and junior girls gave it their all, fighting up to the final seconds when seniors won 38-22. Seniors Autumn Anderson, Maddie Kay and Kaylnn Brockman scored touchdowns, as well as juniors Kiyah Mann and Hope Bonga.
