Welcome home! The marching band welcomed Buddy the Elf and Ms. Clause to Macomb Mall on Friday, Nov. 18. This was the last marching band event of the year, making it bittersweet. “It was nice welcoming Santa for our last marching band event together,” senior Mackenzie Spears said.

The band marched around the mall playing “Jingle bells,” “Santa Clause Is Coming to Town,” and “Let It Snow.” They also decorated their instruments to match the holiday spirit. “I liked getting into the Christmas spirit with my friends even though it’s November,” senior Kaylee Nagorny said. Marching band will start back up in the spring, kicking off with a tour of the elementary schools!
