Congratulations to seniors Elizah Jolly and Desmond Straughton for receiving All State honors. These young men worked hard and stayed consistent throughout the football season. They were recognized by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association as some of the best football players in the Michigan. This is a huge achievement!
“It felt good to win all state because it’s been my goal since last year after we lost in the playoff. Since then, I’ve been working hard every day to achieve this goal, so it felt amazing to win it,” Jolly said.
“This is definitely something the kids have worked hard for and something our school and community has done in the past and we will continue to do,” head coach Vernard Snowden said.
