Thursday, Dec 19 was the fourth day of spirit week! Christmas is coming up, and we showed excitement for Thursday’s spirit theme, which was throwback day. Students showed up wearing a variety of different styles representing many different eras. From boom boxes, to bell bottom jeans and baggy clothing, the hallways were filled with many different, eye-catching outfits. Sophomore Amaya Johnson and juniors Jada Jenkins and Alissa Grimes took a picture together showing off their favorite fashion desires. “For throwback day, I decided to dress in the 2000s style because it’s my favorite fashion era. It was fun discovering pieces in my closet to put my outfit together,” Jenkins said.  

  For the finale of spirit week, Friday, Dec 20 is Freaky Friday. Students and teachers get to swap styles. It was very interesting to see what different styles teachers wore to school representing what students wear and vice versa. Teachers showed up wearing crocs and sweatpants, which are on trend with students. Students dressed formally and casually like the teachers. Participating in spirit week is always so exciting to do, with the many different ideas students and teachers come up with.
