Here at Roseville High School, we have a new, wonderful staff member. Let’s welcome Mrs. Rucker! What brought Mrs. Rucker to Roseville was the fact that she went to high school in Eastpointe, so she always been nearby, and wanted to explore the diversity of this district. She has been an entrepreneur for 3 years and thought she would come pour into the youth. “I have a degree in social work which has always been my passion so why not use my degree? I’m super happy to be here!” Rucker said. Her after-school routine is running her two businesses and making sure she stays organized. “I stop working about 7pm so that I have to go home and make a great meal and relax before work the next day. I make sure I add in some self-care each day so that I can keep things disciplined and structured.” Rucker said. Her biggest goal that I want to achieve by the end of the school year is to learn more than half of the students’ names here at Roseville High School and to learn more ways to show the students how supportive I am and ways we all can better ourselves.
