On May 14 Roseville hosted its 3rd annual college showcase for the varsity football team. This event is a pro day event for young athletes to showcase their skills Infront of over 100 colleges. Varying from Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and NAIA. As an athlete who has participated in this event 2 times it was great for me personally to be able to show off my athleticism and skills in front of a bunch of coaches and make connections. I have received Division 1 offers at this event before. Speaking of receiving offers, 3 Football players received some with 1 being a freshman and the other 2 are juniors.
The player I wanted to highlight was upcoming senior Bryant Snowden. He received Mercyhurst University yesterday. A division one Fcs school. “It was great to show what I can do and I’m happy about the offer. I’m just ready for this upcoming season,” Snowden said. As much of a great athlete he is on the field, he’s an even better student having a 3.8 GPA and made the National Honors Society. He is the true definition of a student athlete.
