A The last two weeks here at Roseville High School have been full of holiday spirit! School has been festive and fun. This week December 18 – December 22 is the final week of spirit! So, let’s have a little recap of the last couple days… Tuesday Dec. 19 was “Rudolph day”, students and staff dressed in their holiday attire such as holiday sweaters, socks, shirts, and BRIGHT RED NOSES, just like Rudolph himself. Wednesday Dec. 20 was “Dress like an elf” day, this day everyone dressed in their finest elf wear or their ugliest Christmas sweaters. Some even wore pointy-elf ears or curled jingle bell shoes. All you could see was elves running all through the school! Friday Dec. 21 was “Merry and Bright” day, people dressed in shiny-sparkly items and Christmas lights. Students and staff sparkled and lit up the whole school! Dec. 22 was “tis the day before winter break” and all through the school kids and even staff dressed in their favorite, most comfy, Christmas pajamas!
“I love spirt week because it fills the school with school spirit and Christmas cheer, it makes me feel good when I see the participation because it makes people happy and brings students and staff together for some fun! Junior Lyndsy Rodriguez said.
This week, we also had a door decorating contest. Teachers and students came together to decorate their doors with Christmas art. Doors will be judged Thursday and the winner will be announced Friday, Dec. 22.
“The door decorating experience was great! The kids came up with the idea and they did 100% of the work aside from me getting supplies, they all worked so hard together!” teacher Joshua Rolder said.
Closing out on the last day of the week before winter break, I believe it is pretty safe to say that this spirit week really sprinkled a little Christmas spirit all though out RHS! Merry Christmas Roseville, have a safe and relaxing break! See you in the new year!
