Do you like action? Is your favorite color blue? If so, you’ll love this new addition to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Sonic the Hedgehog is voiced by Ben Schwartz in this film series, alongside him are his partners Knuckles and Tails, who are voiced by Idris Elba and Collen O’Shaughnessey. Sonic’s famously known rival, Doctor Eggman, along with his assistant, Agent Stone, voiced by Jim Carrey and Lee Majdoub, also again join us in the continuum of the film series, bringing many challenges and obstacles for Sonic and his team.

In this particular film, we’re introduced to another one of Sonic’s well-known enemies, Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves. When Shadow’s character is introduced, he brings high feelings of tension and many new difficulties into play, especially for Sonic and his team. I like how with each character that’s been introduced, each movie focuses on those characters, more and more background can be given, and it starts to add up with the factual events that have been shown throughout the Sonic franchise, it’s one of my favorite ways these films have expressed the details and story of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was a marvelous piece to add to the growing series of movies for the Sonic the hedgehog fandom and its growing popularity. If you’re a big fan of mystery and adventure, this is certainly a perfect watch for you, it is currently still available to watch in local theatres and many streaming platforms such as, Apple TV, Google Play Movies, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
