As homecoming spirit week comes to an end the halls continue to buzz with school pride! On Thursday Oct.9, it was Bee Day. Students and staff participated by wearing black and yellow to show their school spirit. Some people even went all out and wore bee costumes. “I think spirit week is important because it makes students show school pride and makes the school come together,” senior Elizah Jolly said.
On Friday Oct. 19, it was the last day of spirit week, Class color Day. Freshman wore white, Sophomores wore black, juniors wore red, and seniors wore all three colors. “I wore my school colors because it’s my last year of school I wanted to participate in anything I can while I can,” senior Khalob Buhl said.
Overall, this spirit week was a great success! I liked how everyone came together and showed their school pride. I hope everyone had fun during spirit week and had a great time at homecoming.
