This year we are joined at the high school by numerous new staff members and today I will be introducing you to four of them. Our first new staff I’m introducing you to is Jayden Stanley. Stanley is our new tech ParaPro. He is from Garden City, and what brought him to Roseville was coaching. Stanley said that he is having a solid, busy school year so far. His after-school routine is to go to practice, go home, and do it all over again. His biggest goal that he wants to achieve by the end of the school year is to win the state championship in basketball. “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Stanley said.
Our next new staff I’m introducing you to is Hannah Morris. Morris is our new chemistry teacher. She came from Grand Rapids where she taught for two years, and at Eastland Middle School for 3 years. She then moved from Grand Rapids because her fiancé got a new job. She is having a great school year so far, “I enjoy seeing students I had” Morris says. She also enjoys teaching high school. Her after-school routine is to coach volleyball for the middle school, go home, make dinner, walk her dog, and watch television. Her biggest goal that she wants to achieve by the end of the school year is to help students who usually struggle in science get better and enjoy it more. “Sometimes later becomes never, do it now.” Morris said.
Another one of our new staff I’m introducing you to is Lizzy Quaiatto. Quaiatto is our new history teacher. She came from Chippewa Valley as a longtime sub. She came to Roseville because she was looking for a full-time teaching position and was looking around and found Roseville. Her school year is going well so far, “It has had its ups and downs” Quaiatto said, but she’s having a good time. Quaiatto’s after school routine is that she leaves right when school ends, goes home, hangs out with her roommates, watches television, and goes to sleep. Her biggest goal that she wants to achieve by the end of the school year is to feel more confident as a teacher. “Always give it your best.” Quaiatto said.
The last new staff I’m introducing you to today is DaShawn Gilbert. Gilbret is our new ParaPro. He is from Olivet, Michigan. He studied at Olivet College, Malone University, and Eastern Michigan University. He is having a good, decent school year so far. Gilbret’s after school routine is to prep for practice, run the practice from 4:00 p.m. to around 6 or 7:00 p.m. Gilbret’s biggest goal that he wants to achieve by the end of the school year is to keep growing within the personally and positionally. Let’s help welcome them to RHS, if you see them in the hallways, make sure to say hello!
