As we say goodbye to the 2023 – 2024 school year, here are a few reminders to look out for. Be ready for homecoming when school starts! October 4th will be our first pep assembly, the 11th will be the homecoming parade and game, and the 12th will be the dance. Also look out for yearbook sales starting around August 1st. This school year will be the 100th year of Roseville so watch out for events surrounding that.
Big congratulations to Nhevan Canete and Brooklyn Plott for being voted your senior class president and vice president! For junior class president and vice president congratulate Keonate Booker and Aliyanah Daniels.
“I would love to meet my fellow classmates’ expectations and try and make everyone included, and create more recognition in our school’s diversity,” Canete said. Canete and Plott have plans to create culture days, more talent shows, and having boys powder puff volleyball game and a girl’s flag football game.
Also make sure to look for student assembly hosted events like school dances, extravaganzas, and other student focused events.
“This school year is going to be big, as a group we have so many ideas and plans to make next school year a year to remember. Student Assembly is bigger than ever, and I am so proud to be such a big part of this activity,” student assembly president, Faith Tucker said.
Lastly, the Roseville Marching Panther’s director Daniel Chesher announced the senior Drum major and field commanders for the 2024 marching season. Senior drum major is Nhevan Canete and assisting him on the field is Leilani Duhaylonsod. “I’m really excited for everyone to have fun this season,” Duhaylonsod said.
So, let’s say goodbye to the 2023-2024 school year and hello to a new year and 100 years of Roseville Community Schools. Have an amazing summer RHS, or not the choice is yours.
