Beach Day Thursday had such a great turn out! Students and teachers were dressed in all kinds of outfits ranging from a swimsuit being put over a sweatshirt to outfits to just “chill in the sun.” Right across from English teacher Joshua Kovach’s room was a beach backdrop that brought the spirit day to life. “I want to set an example and show the kids what panther pride is all about,” Kovach said. Most students that were dressed said, “do not be afraid to dress however you want and go all out for spirit days.” That’s right! Show pride! Students and teachers had fun with Beach Day Thursday, considering we live in Michigan. “I thought it would be the best day related to under the sea, so I decided to dress up,” junior Nathavia Cherisca said.
