On Wednesday, May 17^th, the RHS National Honor Society members hosted awards night. NHS members showed up around 6pm to help set up the check in table, refreshment table, and to hand out pamphlets. Guests and award winners then started showing up around 6:30 and slowly made their way into the auditorium. Then, Mr. Bettin gave his speech and announced the class representatives and Mrs. O’Callaghan announced some scholarship winners.

They started to call the award winners, and everything ran smoothly. “It actually was pretty quick, and nothing went wrong so overall I’d say it was good,” Senior Lakyra Moss said. After the awards they served cake and water and cleaned everything up for the night as the seniors wrapped up their last awards night event.
