This year, we have a new assistant teacher in the school. Gregory Gunderson is the new assistant teacher in the auto shop classroom. He has 40 years of mechanical experience, but this is his first year of teaching. He retired from being a mechanic and thought teaching would pay off. “I retired after 40 years, and I thought getting a part-time job at a high school would make it easier to pass on my knowledge,” Gunderson said.

Gunderson’s goals for this year are to get used to teaching and to find students that also enjoy working on cars. So far, Gunderson is enjoying being at Roseville High School. “It seems like a nice school with nice programs as well,” Gunderson said. If you see Gunderson, don’t be afraid to welcome him to the school!
