Here at Roseville High School, we have a new, wonderful staff member. Let’s welcome Mrs. Roberts! Mrs. Roberts started in Roseville Community Schools at elementary level. She worked at Kaiser, Huron Park, and Dort as a student assistant specialist. “I traveled to each of these schools each week. I then moved to Roseville Middle School where I remained a student assistant specialist. The student assistant specialist job that I initially had was a great opportunity for me, it was in my field of work, and I absolutely loved it. When I realized how much I loved working in a school, I decided to go back to school for my master’s in counseling,” Roberts said. Her after school routine is to drive and pick up her four-year-old son, go home to where she usually cleans her house, and spend time with her kids before starting dinner. “I don’t have a very exciting after school routine, but it works for me,” Roberts said. Her biggest goal that she wants to achieve is to learn, grow, and do well. “By the end of this school year I hope to have done really well in my new position. It’s important to me that I put my best foot forward each day, learn as much as I can, and do the best job I can for the students and my new team,” Roberts said.
