Instead of one week for a Christmas spirit week, Student Assembly came up with the idea of a 12 days of Christmas spirit week. During the duration of the spirit week called “12 Days of Christmas Cheer” there will be some interesting spirit days. The first day of spirit week was Thursday Dec. 7 and its theme was “Jingle All the Way”, where students and staff wore jingle bells on any article of clothing. “I love Christmas and wanted to be festive, and I also loved giving out bells to my students,” Rachael Kaatz said. The second day of spirit week was Friday Dec. 8 with the theme of “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, where students and staff wore their favorite hat, scarf, and or gloves to school. “I had fun participating in today’s spirit day in my hat and gloves I was also very warm,” senior Dai’Ana Woods said. On Monday Dec. 11 it was the third day of spirit week, kids dressed in red and white to represent a candy cane. On Tuesday Dec. 12 it was all about holiday cheer, people wore their favorite jerseys to school. As spirit week continues staff and students are encouraged to continue to dress up!
