Even though the holidays are over here is a quick recap on spirit week. On Wednesday, Dec 17 it was ugly sweater day at RHS. The festive, often humorous, day where people wear the craziest holiday themed sweaters they can find. The hallway transformed into a hilarious fashion show as students and staff flaunted their most outrageous and ugly holiday sweaters. Many students loved ugly sweater day because it gave them a chance to show off their creativity. “I liked seeing how festive everyone’s sweaters looked with all the designs,” senior Kameron Lindsey said. The following spirt day on the 18 was dress as a holiday character day. The hallways buzzed with excitement as students arrived dressed as their favorite characters. From cheerful elves to classic Santas and mischievous grinches. “I think its super cool with everyone getting to express themselves,” freshman Paige Gnesotto said.
