What brought Jeremy Lewis to Roseville was him subbing for the last three years and him liking the teaching hours so he went back to school for his teaching credentials so he could teach full time. Growing up he did half of his elementary education in Detroit and then moved to Roseville for a better environment and community and he has been here ever since. His after-school routine is to pick his kids up and take them home to their sports, go home to cook and clean, do some work at home and then work out. His personal goal is to do good in his studies for his master’s and make enrollees. His school goals are to see kids progress, get out of their shells, and see them blossom. “It’s like a dream come true to be back, I graduated from here back in ’05,” Lewis said, “I love to be back with my community and back with the kids.”
The things that brought Joe Baker to Roseville is that he is an alumnus here and he wants to coach here, athletics got him back here inside the school. He is from California but later came to Detroit, so during all his middle school high school years he was here with Roseville Community Schools. His after-school routine is to go to coaching, get his daughter, then finally he eats, sleeps, then repeats. His goals inside the school are to make kids respect him and get to know him better. His athletic goals are to make a state championship in wrestling or football. “It’s a pretty good transition, because I have relationships with athletes,” Baker said, “I was an alumnus in ‘04 and I played football with Mr. Lewis.”
