Are you interested in any after school clubs Panthers? The tabletop gaming club, book club and quiz bowl are up and running for the year. All three of these clubs are open and still taking on new members!
Quiz-bowl is run by Jamie Saric, in room A140. They meet on Mondays after school for practice, and their first meeting will be on October 25th. Anyone who wants to join can show up to any practice and check it out, no commitment necessary. “I joined because I like trivia” Senior, Alecia Dy, said. If you’re interested in trivia, or just want something to do after school checkout quiz-bowl.
Anyone interested in games such as Dungeons and Dragons, chess, cards, and more, should join the table-top gaming club. They meet on Fridays after school, and they’re looking into doing competitive chess on Mondays. “We’re excited to be even bigger than last year.” Robyn Strickland, club advisor, said. Table-top gaming club is a laidback, fun activity to do on Fridays after school. “I like the creativity in D&D, people can express themselves.” Christian Seifert, president of the club, said.
Lastly, good news for the Book Club! Andrea Burns, advisor of the club, confirmed that the books are ordered, and the club is going to be ready to be up and running soon. They will be reading The Fire Keepers Daughter, written by Angeline Boulley, this year. “I’m really excited so many are interested,” Burns said.
