A lot of RHS students had been looking forward to spring break. Junior Aleiah Richardson had been looking forward to her spring break for weeks. She was ready for some relaxation, fun, and, of course, good food! With the sun shining bright and the air filled with that perfect spring warmth, she decided it was time to treat herself to a meal at one of her favorite spots, “Juan Blanco’s Tacos + Tequila”. “It was my first time trying authentic birria tacos and it was my first time trying a lemonade lavender infused mocktail. Something I recommend are chips and salsa,” Richardson said.
Another junior, Alissa Grimes, visited Ohio with her family to eat at “Golden Corral” over spring break. “I had a good experience going to Golden Corral, I got to try a lot of new foods I haven’t had before it was really good,” Grimes said.
Sophomore Amaya Johnson was also anticipating spring break to enjoy the warm sun. She and her family tried many different food spots she hasn’t had before, but her favorite spot was “Dave’s Hot Chicken”. “My best friend Gabby and I went to go try it and it was a 10 out of 10. I would definitely try again,” Johnson said.
