To kick off the 2023-2024 school year here comes Homecoming. Currently two weeks away with only one week until spirit week which takes place the week of Homecoming, our spirit week/Homecoming theme will be Under the Sea. To kick off the start of spirit week, starting on Monday October 9th, will be Rainbow Fish – dress in colors (get creative).
“My favorite part of Homecoming is spirit week, I love the creativity and the participation of it,” senior Lydia Rodriguez said.
Following the day after will be School of Fish which is Twin Day/Groups, Wednesday will be Pirates vs Sailors, Thursday is Beach Day (dress appropriately for school), and finally Friday which is School Colors (dress up in Roseville High School class colors). Spirit week will take place October 9th– October 13th. Roseville High School annual pep rally will be October 6th during school starting at the end of 5th hour until dismissal. There will be Homecoming Courts that will be announced at the pep rally as well. October 13 will be Roseville High School’s Homecoming parade. The parade starts at Eastland Middle School’s parking lot. Where we will meet the football players to start off the Homecoming game held at Roseville High School at 5:00 pm, where we will be going against Anchor Bay High School. During half time at the football game they will also be announcing the Homecoming king and queen. October 14th will be Roseville High School’s Homecoming dance that starts at 7:00pm-10:00pm.
“I love Homecoming I love dressing up for it and the decorations,” junior Elliya Stackhouse said.
The Roseville High school annual Homecoming dance will be held at Roseville High School in the school gym. Homecoming will be put together by Roseville High School Student Assembly staff. That’ll be all the events that lead up to the Homecoming dance and that’s Roseville High School Homecoming preview.
