Marching band leaders set for 15-16
Every year, the RHS marching band holds tryouts for section leaders and drum majors. The drum majors are the head of the band; they conduct at the shows and control the whole band. The section leaders are the leaders of their sections. They make sure their section memorizes their music and keep them in shape for the marching season. Here are your 2015-2016 senior marching band leaders:
Flute Section Leader Brooke Blackwell: “I was really excited, even though I was the only one that tried out for it. I am going to help the flutes be the best that they can be.”
