PotBelly hosts event for RCS Scholarship Foundation
March 31, 2015
On Friday, March 27, a new local business, PotBelly, located at 32457 Gratiot Ave., hosted an event that benefited the Roseville Scholarship Foundation. The local business kicked off their opening with an “Oven Warming Event,” during which a $5 donation provided patrons with a sandwich, bag of chips, and a soda, all the while 100% of the proceeds went towards RCS scholarships.
“It was a great event – the sandwiches were good; the staff friendly and excited to be there,” superintendent administrative assistant Diane Rogers said.
The event raised a total of $1,729, which almost helped pay for two full scholarships. RCS looks forward to working with PotBelly on other district fundraisers.
