On Thursday, May 14, Link Crew held an Ice Cream Social for the freshmen during sixth hour. The event was filled with games, sports, excitement, and of course, ice cream! Freshmen had a blast spending time with their peers and Link Crew leaders while enjoying a fun break during the school day.

This event also marked the final Link Crew activity for the senior leaders, making it a bittersweet moment for many of them. Most of the seniors have been involved in Link Crew since their sophomore year, mentoring freshmen and helping them adjust to high school. Although it was their last event, the seniors were happy to spend one final day making memories with the freshmen and sharing their last pieces of advice before graduation.

Overall, the event was a huge success, and everyone had a wonderful time. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for RHS Link Crew and the incoming freshmen. Based on this year’s events, next year is sure to be outstanding!
