April 23, RHS teacher Jodi Teutsch hosted an event for the staff to bring their kids to work! All the kids who came participated in fun events Teutsch put together. “All of the kids who participated seemed to have a blast! In the planning of the event, not a single staff member that I asked anything of said no, and the joint efforts of all the participating staff are what made the event successful,” Teutsch said, “It was a very fun experience and I definitely had fun.” Courtney Pratt said.
The event started off with the kids having breakfast and ice breaker games to welcome. Eventually five to ten-year-olds went separate ways from 11 and older. Each group did different activities which consisted of five to ten-year-olds doing team games, news broadcasting, art projects, lunch with parents, movies, board games, making slime/glow parties, and math games. Ages 11+ did auto welding, woodshop, news broadcasting, mechatronics, planetarium, and team games. Overall, the event was successful, and both the students and kids had a fun time.
