Wednesday, March 18 was a very special day for RHS. During school the top ten students in the graduating class of 2026 were announced over the PA. This is a group I am happy to be a part of along with Madison Peplinski, Lucas Sides, Lea Pepito, Evan Kratt, Daniel Kesterson, Brooke Cross, Darren Gazoul, Gabriel Olsen, and Riham Sarar. These students have shown outstanding academic achievements over the past four years, pushing to be the top of our class. We also had the honor of finding out who amongst these students are our 2026 valedictorian and salutatorian, and I’m proud to say Riham Sarar and Gabriel Olsen have gained that honor.
We have all worked very hard to have an all-A average throughout the years. Taking AP classes, involving ourselves in the community, and all while keeping our GPAs up. The work put in has finally paid off, and these students will be celebrated in many ways, one being a banner on Utica Road.
“I feel so honored to be in the top 10 and low-key shocked I even made it to be honest, but it’s nice to see that my hard work paid off. I also think it’s very cool we get to have our banners put up, it’s nice to see that kind of recognition after 4 years of hard work,” Pepito said.
