Have you met Aubri Funderburg and Ken Harper? They are the new team of para-pros that have joined the staff to help keep students safe, supported, and focused on learning. They play a key role in monitoring hallways throughout the day, ensuring smooth transitions between classes and maintaining a calm, orderly environment.
“I like working with the kids. This is pretty different from working in the kitchen, but I get to see a lot of new faces,” Funderburg said.
Beyond supervision, the para-pros assist by writing and managing student passes, helping track student movement and reducing unnecessary time out of class. Their presence allows teachers to stay focused on instruction while ensuring students have clear expectations and accountability during the school day.
These para-pros have taken the reigns from previous para-pros Ms. Tammy and Ms. Renee. They retired on the last day of school before winter break back in 2025. Since then, the new para-pros have taken on their duties and have helped keep the school running smoothly.
