Wake up, sleepyheads! Monday, Oct. 7, was the first spirit day of the school year, counting off the days until Homecoming. Students wore their best pajamas to school and got comfortable as they learned throughout the day.
A friend group of three decided to wear matching onesies, seniors Alana Roman, Antaween Shelton, and December Chatman wore orange Garfield onesies. “I think last Wednesday (we decided), and we had a choice between these and cow onesies and we chose Garfield,” Shelton said.
Students and staff showed how being able to wear their pajamas can make for a happy Monday. Students brought accessories like blankets, neck pillows, and slippers. Compliments from students showered the hallways, while multiple kids expressed their excitement by matching with friends, taking group photos with peers and staff to show off this yearly memory.
Stay tuned for the rest of the week’s flower garden themes and enjoy HOCO 24!
