Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Ronald Reeves, Staff Reporter

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released in 2018, I watched it on Netflix with my siblings. The characters and animation was amazing, it was like anything I’ve ever seen. The story and characters were so well-developed, that it left you wanting more. I loved how the movie explored the idea of different reality. I think my favorite part was the soundtrack overall, it definitely add to the movie. It’s one of my favorite animated movies.

Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on December 4, 2021. Then it was rereleased after December 13, 2022 in HD. I was thrilled to see the movie and couldn’t wait. While waiting they gave the audience a chance join in on the interactive experience called The Spider Society. During this amazingĀ  experience I had the chance to ask cast members questions about what was like working on the film and how do you relate to your character. I love the fact that they did this for the audience. I fortunately had the chance to watch it opening weekend. Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched it yet.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has an amazing cast. They had big celebrities like Issa Rae, Oscar Issac, Hailee Steinfeld, and Shameik Moore, who plays Miles Morales. I loved how they did cameos with other celebrities to promote the film. I also loved how Metro Boomin and a lot of other great artist like Swae Lee, Offset and Coi Leray contributed to the sound track of the movie.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a visually stunning and action-packed film that delivers on all fronts. The animation was amazing, with vibrant colors and all the different character designs that truly bring the Spider-Verse to life. The story is engaging and well-paced, with plenty of heart and humor to balance out the action. The film successfully introduces new characters while also paying respect to classic Spider-Man lore. Overall, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a must-see for any Spider-Man fan or anyone looking for a thrilling and entertaining movie experience. I really must say I can’t for part 2 of the movie to come out next year.
