On Thursday, April 27, art teacher Fiona Rawson took her 20 photography students on a field trip to the Detroit Zoo. This was the second field trip Rawson has taken a class on, with the first trip being Rawson’s first semester photography class.

The students were working on aperture and shutter speeds as well as using manual focus and planning to get their best photos. “It was a fun experience; it was nice to see the animals and it was also a nice opportunity to use the cameras.”  Senior Emilie Randall said.

The Photography classes have been doing their best learning how to use the cameras and they will continue to put learn and improve their abilities with the cameras.
