Band Students Take Over Nashville

Dionysia Washington, Staff Reporter

On March 20th, multiple kids from different band classes went on their annual three-day trip. Last year’s trip was to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, but this year, they visited Nashville, Tennessee also known as, “Nashvegas”. The students left in the early morning on Monday and returned Thursday night.

While in Nashville, they explored many different places. They visited the Grand Ole Opry where they watched live performances, the Louisville Slugger Museum, and Madame Tussauds where they see wax statues of famous celebrities.

I had fun on the Nashville trip, the best part about the trip for me was watching all the live performances at the Grand Ole Opry”, Junior Keiona Loggers said. Don’t miss out on next year’s band trip and sign up for a next year’s band class.
