As the final days of the first semester of the school year draw to a close, students have been surprised with more time to study for exams and complete missing assignments. Four to six inches of snow sent RHS into the first two snow days of the year. Final exams were pushed to Friday, Jan. 27 for first, second, and third hour. The rest of exams for fourth, fifth, and sixth hour will be taking place today, Monday, Jan. 30. All grades will be put in by the end of the week. Students and their parents should be expecting final grades through their emails starting the week of Feb. 6.

Students, especially seniors, are excited to begin the last half of the year.

“I can’t wait for the new semester to start. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the new semester has to bring and having a great rest of the year,” senior Asia Wheeler said.

“The snow days were very helpful because we got extra time to study and prepare for exams.” senior Andalee White said, “I’m excited to finish this last semester and move on to college life.”

Semester two begins on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Congratulations to all of the students, teachers and staff for all of your hard work as you made it through half of the school year. Start the semester off right Roseville!
