Dr. Strange Movie Review

Jada Stinson, Staff Reporter

Dr. Strange is a Marvel movie that was published May 24, 2022, that makes plenty of references to Marvel comics. The film was directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness might be the biggest “glow-up” MCU movie since Captain America Civil War followed The Winter Solder. The film was originally supposed to be released on May 7, 2021 but kept getting pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is the fourteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the second installment of Phase Three. Doctor Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, and Rachel McAdams as Dr. Christine Palmer. Marvel is investing time in developing another long-term villain, one that could continue to bedevil Doctor Strange. The movie now is in all theaters and can be found on Disney plus, the movie also has an option of seeing it in 3D.
