Dr. Strange is a Marvel movie that was published May 24, 2022, that makes plenty of references to Marvel comics. The film was directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness might be the biggest “glow-up” MCU movie since Captain America Civil War followed The Winter Solder. The film was originally supposed to be released on May 7, 2021 but kept getting pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marvel is investing time in developing another long-term villain, one that could continue to bedevil Doctor Strange.
