The week of May 2 to May 6 was Teacher Appreciation Week. Last week, we honored and celebrated our teachers who work hard every day to make sure students get the education they need. The National Honor Society passed out M&M candies to teachers around the building to show their support, love, and gratitude for the effort they put in. “I appreciate Mrs. Strickland. She is super cool, laid-back, and funny,” junior Mackenzie Hubbard said.

“I appreciate Mrs. Burns,” junior Grace Patterson said. On Thursday, May 5, the Student Assembly also passed out goodie bags to teachers. Go show your teachers some appreciation and tell them how much they mean to you!
