Roseville High school is hosting a blood drive through American Red Cross on May 9.

Donating blood may seem scary for a first timer, but it also can be motivational and exciting. Many people just let these types of events blow over their head, but you should think about the life you could be saving. One drop of your blood can do so much for another person.

“I’m going to be donating blood because I feel that we need more people to be aware that it is towards a good cause” English teacher Joshua Kovach said.

You can sign up for the blood drive in your lunch on May 4 if you’re 17 years of age. The blood drive will be held at Roseville High school in the main gym from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
