“Anything But Common And Normal” promotion

Throughout the 2021-22 school year, the Journalism 2 staff worked tirelessly to create this year’s yearbook.

At the end of the previous school year, returning staff members begin to discuss and create the theme and ideas for the upcoming book.  This is when colors and fonts are also discussed.

“I was excited to help pick the theme for this year’s book, and I’m excited to see the final product,” managing editor Paige Guinn said.

The theme for this year’s book is “Anything But Common And Normal”, which is a play on words for where the school is located.  But aside from the play on words, the name of the book holds meaning in the fact that the last few years have been abnormal, and the student body is not common whatsoever.

The price of this year’s book is currently 75 dollars.  However, the yearbook staff frequently provides coupon codes to get five dollars off the book.
