Spider-Man: No Way Home Movie Review

On Dec. 17, 2021, the newest Spider-Man movie was released, and I was able to see it ten days later.  As a movie by itself, I personally really liked it! The cinematography was amazing, but I didn’t expect anything less from a Marvel movie.  The music choice was great, too and I am a sucker for a good soundtrack in a movie.  The movie had amazing action scenes and had funny parts throughout.  Whenever a character entered the screen for the first time in the movie, everyone in the theater gasped out of excitement, including my friends and I.

Out of all the Spider-Man movies so far, Tom Holland’s trilogy has been my favorite.  The updated technology, the lesser known villains making their debut, and the memorable lines in the movies makes the experience of watching it so much better.  This movie brought all of the best characters from the other movies and put them all into the same universe, and it was really cool to see how Marvel pulled it off.

My favorite sub-plot line throughout the movie would probably be the focus on Peter and MJ’s relationship.  In Spider-Man: Far From Home, they develop their relationship a little bit, but nowhere as near as much as No Way Home does.  I liked how they portrayed it more as cute and a little awkward, just because they’re high school students.

Overall, I enjoyed Spider-Man: No Way Home!  It was a great experience in theaters, and it was especially good with the friends I went and saw it with.  It fits into Tom Holland’s trilogy, and it fits into phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  If you enjoyed watching anything with the MCU’s Peter Parker, I greatly recommend Spider-Man: No Way Home.
