On May 18, 2021 RHS will present “On With the Show!”

As the cabaret gets nearer, the choir students must work exceptionally hard with teacher Kristina Collins; their choir director, however, that means something completely different for students among the pandemic. They have adapted a completely new way of learning their music and rehearsing it. A virtual way.

“I’ve been in choir since elementary school. It’s never been like this though, with all the computer work and being home all the time. To be honest, it’s hard but being able to still do some things like a concert is pretty cool,” junior Savanna Kraft said.

Due to the pandemic, there will not be anyone allowed at the cabaret besides the performers and staff of the school district. The performance will be recorded to be placed on YouTube and Facebook.

The show will take place at RHS at 3:30pm. It will feature RHS Treble Choir, Symphonic Choir, Dazzle! Show Choir, and various student variety acts.

“We will also sing the senior song, ‘You’ll Be in My Heart’,” Collins said.
