Principal Adams earns doctorate degree
October 26, 2018
RHS principal Pat Adams recently completed his doctorate degree. For seven years, Adams has been studying at Oakland University. His degree is in Educational Leadership, and his dissertation was an “Examination of Teacher Trust in Principal and the Implementation of Skills Learned in Professional Development”.
Having earned his doctorate degree is personally fulfilling for Adams. Accomplishing this degree takes a lot of time and effort. He sees it as a reward for the bumpy road that is now behind him.
“I am proud of myself for weathering through all of the challenges. There are many personal, professional, and family challenges that I have weathered through it to finally reach the goal,” Adams said.
Despite the new title, Adams will still prefer to be referred to as “Mr. Adams” rather than the earned “Dr.” His graduation ceremony will take place on Dec. 15.
