RHS awards night was held for students recognized for their hard work and achievements on May 16 at Roseville Middle School. This event was sponsored by the National Honor Society, in which the members announced and handed out awards to recipients. Seniors were awarded for their high school accomplishments one last time. Students brought their parents and families with them.

The ceremony started with announcing the class of 2018 valedictorian and salutatorians. It then proceeded to the recognition of athletes of the year and scholarship recipients. After that, students at all grade levels received various awards for their work in advanced placement, core, and elective classes. Roseville Community Scholarships and certificates of achievement in clubs were also noted. There were 800 awards handed out to approximately 200 different students.

“The event was a great evening and everyone was excited.  We gave out scholarships and the 800 awards; everyone had a great time. Seniors, best of luck in the future and congratulations,” NHS sponsor and social studies teacher John Czech said.Dinaz Kazi
