On May 7, students raided their closets, finding outfits to become their favorite meme. Many people dressed as Kermit the Frog, Arthur, Salt Bae, or iconic videos from Vine.  Some kids even just wore clout goggles. Every grade makes it a competition between each other to see who can have the best outfit or who had the most participants.

Some students kept it simple and dressed in casual attire like junior Cameron Pourchez dressed as the meme “You know I had to do it to them” guy, Jo’el Stump dressed as the guy who almost dropped his croissant, and Katrina Archambault dressed as DW from Arthur. The junior class even gathered together to have a group photo, just like the one they did earlier in the year.

“My ‘fit was expensive but I think it was worth it,” Pourchez said.

Meme day was a way for everyone to express themselves while having a good laugh. With AP exams approaching and seniors soon saying their farewells, this day enlightened the mood for the rest of the week. We hope to see everyone dress in their best red, white, and blue attire for America day tomorrow.
