Jennifer Moore is a new art teacher at our school and has her Master’s degree in art education from Wayne State University. She was happy to find a school to teach at nearby her home with so many positive qualities.

“I love the diversity, the maturity level, and students that enjoy art and have smiles on their faces,” Moore said.

Art is something that Moore’s mother taught and her dad did for a living, he was an architect. She previously was a lifeguard, worked in landscaping, taught canoe lessons, and was a veterinary technician. She plans to be here until the end of her career, hoping that she can make a difference in her students’ lives.

“I want my students to come to me in the future telling me about their achievements in art,” Moore said.
