As I’m wrapping up my senior year, I just wanted to share some things with you all. Throughout my four years at RHS, it has been a lot of ups and just as many downs but in the end, I’m still graduating in June. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve met plenty different kinds of students and staff members, and every interaction plays a part in the type of person I am today and is shaping me every day. One thing that’s really important that I’ve learned is the importance of involvement and networking. Unfortunately, I really didn’t start until this year, so if you’re a freshman, I’d advise you to start trying to get into any clubs and programs, anything you can and can handle and salvage as many relationships as you can throughout the years.
Take any mistake you make as a lesson and learn and grow from it and as long as you do that, you’ll still be able to get into the college you want, and you’ll still be able to apply for any scholarships. Just continue to work hard and push yourself as far as you can go and have faith in yourself! Don’t let anything or anybody distract you. Something I just want to share is I’m super proud of myself, I’m the first one in my household to be enrolled into a college, I’m attending Wayne State University in the fall of 2026, and personally I’m super excited because this is one of those things I worked extremely hard to achieve, despite all my mistakes that I turned into lessons!
